Well here she is! My new truck! 1974 ford f250 highboy! With a 6L ls, 4l80e and a divorced np205! Pretty stoked. The highboys come with a closed knuckle d44 which are pretty rare and hard to get parts for which is why I opted and found a set of 1979 axles with are a more modern take and parts are readily available! She needs some work but what doesn't! Can't wait to pick it up and thanks again @graham_hobson for the lead and @graybakerr for the truck 😍 and @lyons.blaked I need a cam 😂

At this rate I'll be done by winter 😂 ffs , got the roof on so that was cool.

Well, we're getting somewhere! Last night at the minibike party Benny mentioned he had another 59 Impala roof so we all went into the bushes of his back hard and there it was. It is in way better shape then the orange one BUT we needed the orange one for all the pillars and learning experience. Haha thanks @jap_anadian for the roof! And thanks @lowrider_nova for alllll the help

A lot of people said it can't be done, you're fucked, get an original Riviera hardtop roof.. welp. With a little measuring and comparing over the past week I ended up cutting up a 59 Belair or Impala or something haha thanks again @georjah and @drop__factory 🥰🥰🥰 just tryyy!! And if it doesn't work figure it out!

The most asked thing I get " how are you going to fix that " and half the time I have zero idea. I've never replaced a roof lol I went through multiple photos and did some measurements and went " this might work" and went over to georjahs house and started cutting! Biggest battle nowa days I feel are people are scared to try something unless they know it's going to work 100% but where's the fun in that, All my research stated that this roof wouldn't fit but my measurements and theory says it will! and from what I can see, it still will but I won't know until I drill out all the spot welds and lay it on top. You just gotta go for it and hope for the best! The roof still might not work but then I'll deal with it then! I don't know where I'm headed with this but just give it a go! I knew if I didn't take the grinder to the top the day I pulled the vinyl off I wouldn't have done it and now I'm forced to!

I think it's fixable.
