spontaneous reaction

So other than being ridiculously busy with life this weekend was a true weekend of friendship, when your buddies knock on your door waking you up at 8 am after partying pretty good and tell you ” we’re going to the island to go watch some drifting and we’re driving your car ” and well I couldn’t really say no.. I did think about it for a few minutes as I had a bunch of shit to do… and then my dad said fucken go for it, go have fun and… well off we went, car did fantastic, no problems, and we fucken sent it! had a good time, seen a bunch of great people and well had a good time

fall si’ here

so with the last week consisting of non stop rain I haven’t really had the opportunity to do anything. but the past weekend I was hanging at the shop and took advantage of the day or so of not raining aswell as went past riley’s and took some snaps of his new whippp! super stoked.

where were you in 32′

A while back Karl sent me pictures of this beast saying he was doing a few things on it but by the time I could get out there it was already gone. This time it just came through the doors for some minor work and I took advantage of that and headed out there. It’s a 32 ford roadster with a Chevy 302 straight 6 which were usually placed in 1 ton trucks in the 50’s or so. all it needs is a fade paint job and it could pass for a ” survivor build ” other than being fiberglass. situated with some super rare speed parts and a 5 speed this thing goes like a bat out of hell, I’ve been wanting to take a few of these shots fora while and glad I did!

Right place, Right time

so what a busy weekend so far and tonight’s going to be another late one. BUT… some times you’re in the right place at the right time and this was one of them. I believe everything happens for a reason but then at the same time I also believe that everything that happens in life does so because something that you have done previously .. they kind of contradict themselves but at the same time work hand in hand.. anyways Started the weekend off with buying another LS for my pickup truck, the mileage is just killing me right now.. so go from 11 mpg up to 16-17 and it will be affordable to drive again haha. after that I helped Johno bring a 5m from one shop to another and we ended up at serial 9. asked what they were up to as the night was still young ( 8 pm ) said we’re doing some warehouse drifting wanna snap pics ? I didn’t even get to reply as I was already on my way to my truck to rush home and grab all of my gear! just shows everything you do leads to somewhere whether you were planning on going there or not.. but last night I was at the right place at the right time!  I’m pretty happy with the results as it’s got more of a professional feel but still some lifestyle in there which is exactly what i’m going for. when I go out to take pictures or “galavanting” I am trying to give the feel like you’re there and slowly but surely i’m getting better at it! but here are the pictures of the night! it was a blast and I hope to get out and do more! even though winter is coming, you gotta keep on attrrr’ happy thanks giving!

when a train comes, take advantage!

so this morning we towed the squarebody to the farm as I sold it to kyle and well.. I forgot to take pictures ahhaha, oh well. but then on the way to johno’s shop we hit a train so well the lighting was pretty good and I got out and took some pictures lol.  Come another couple weeks the 64 should be sold so that leaves me with the 59, 54, and 30 ford coupe. and to be honest.. it’s the first time in my life that I won’t have several projects and money thrown everywhere hahaha. I’ll have one daily driver, one burnout fuck around machine and then the full on end game project.. which will just break necks. It’ll be cool to do one nice thing for once as I’m slowly learning quality than quantity as you can’t drive them all at once.. so I figure these are pretty good end game! And to top it off it gives me lots of time to fuck around hahahaha. what’s more fun than that!
